As Grade 2 items, the main problems with these are delamination, perishing of the waterproof seal, small holes and stains. These may have larger repairs, small holes, missing components such as buttons, patchy fading or other small damages - see the last 2 images for examples. Given these are Grade 2 shelters, they may no longer be waterproof without intervention/repairs.

Bashas, or 'hoochies' are a vital piece of military kit. We have a few in the classic British Army DPM and even fewer in desert DPM! 

Setting one up is easy with the right tools and know-how, or easy to learn otherwise! Your ideal setup of a basha will consider many things, including the purpose (such as concealment or storage), weather (factors like wind direction, rain) and environment (are you anchoring to trees or need extra poles?). Plenty of tutorials are out there and everyone loves practicing building forts out the back! The British Army has multiple uses for these - shelter to sleep under with a bivi bag, storing gear from the rain or even for casualty evacuation.

The sides have eyelets and webbing loops around the edges so you can fix it down with pegs and cords or raise it with tent poles. The nylon has a waterproof coating and the middle seam has a silicone seal so you can keep your gear/yourself dry in bad weather. Camouflaged fabric helps keep a low profile while camping or hunting. Don't leave on your next outdoor excursion without one!
