Description
The British Army's approach to the bivy bag is a no-nonsense design but with superior material quality. By "no-nonsense design" we mean there is no side zip, snap dome fastening or hook & loop strips to mess around with. You enter through the wide opening at the top, tighten the bag with a drawstring, then you're locked in for a dry night in the wilderness.
The British Army use a material called MVP (Moisture Vapour Permeable), which is a waterproof and breathable membrane—like Gore-Tex®. This will keep you and your sleeping bag dry if your environment is damp and dewy. If you've tried it, you'll know there is nothing like getting out of the tent and sleeping directly under the stars on a mild night in the outdoors. Pick up a bivy bag and give it a go.

I ordered this yesterday morning from hamilton and it arrived the next morning on rush optiin shipping. Unreal speed. The quality is excellent. I was told by my goid friend who served in the british military that these bivy bags are bombproof haha he said they used them all the time and were litterly there home for most nights in all weather conditions. He told me it will last forever if looked after and he wishes he kept his one from his time in the military. Very happy with this purchase. I got it for an upcomming hunting trip down south island as an extra back up and sleeping bag protector plus added wamth.

Found the drawstring was a bit tight, so pulled it all the way through and used silicon spray on it - definite improvement.
Tons of space inside if you need to stow small bits and pieces inside to keep them warm and dry.
Gave this a 5 Star rating because it was in excellent condition for a second hand item.
