Description
These pouches were designed to carry the 'Sabre' series of US military radios primarily during the 1990's. It was part of the 'RACK' (Ranger Assault Carrying Kit) and used by US Army Rangers and other Special Forces units.
The pouch contains the usual quality you would expect from modern US Army surplus - MOLLE attachment back, hook & loop flap with buckle for both quick and secure access, all made with hard wearing 1000D Cordura. The top flap has a unique contour to allow for the Sabre radio aerial as well as an internal cord to loop over the top of said radio - you want to secure that expensive gear especially if parachuting! Alternatively you can store a pair of M4 mags, a drink bottle or other items of similar dimensions.
If you are carrying a radio in your kit then slap on one of these fellas onto your chest rig, plate carrier, webbing or backpack.
