Forgot your bivy bag or your tent is buggered?-fold in half and snap together to form a improvised sleeping bag. With enough of these tarps, you can snap them together and add some poles to form a limitless sized tent!
You probably get the point by now - a good military tarp is bloody handy to have on hand. Both female and male snap domes surround the outer edges so you can wrap & snap the tarp or attach it to others. Each corner and midway between has a metal grommet and bungy cord so you can fix it down. Although the UCP 'camo' is questionable unless you are in rocky terrain, the reverse is sand coloured.
