Description

The M1 carbine was a highly popular weapon for soldiers during World War 2. It was designed as a personal defense weapon for the likes of heavy weapons teams, drivers, cooks etc for its lightweight portability. These pouches were made for the sole purpose of feeding these weapons. The back of the pouch is essentially one large loop that simply slots onto a pistol belt - soldiers also slotted these onto the stocks of their carbines as well (although they were not originally designed for this). Made from durable cotton canvas and with a single snap stud closure to secure 2 magazines within.

Perfect for WW2 reenactors or completing that airsoft impression. Complete your belt load for your M1 carbine with one of these bad boys!

Features:

  • Carries 2 x M1 Carbine mags
  • Snap stud closure
  • Belt loop rear (fits up to 10cm wide belts)
  • Cotton canvas construction

I love it. Seriously think before pairing with Denix M1

Originally bought this to deck my Denix M1 Carbine out and make it look super cool. Thought it would be as easy to take apart as Ian made it look during his Forgotten Weapons disassembly. It isn’t. Denix in their infinite wisdom decided to replace the simple to remove screw that holds the sling attachment with a really stubborn pin, and I need to find a tent pole or something to smash it out with a mallet just so I can make a 50% high school assignment passing grade replica look a bit different. You can’t squish it past the trigger guard and the rear sight, you have to disassembly the rifle.

Instead of immediately forgetting about it after slapping it on my Carbine, I’ve been using the mag pouch to start running a bunch of mag drills. It’s not great. Maybe it’s because I’m using a really slim trousers belt to hold it to my body and it likes to slip upward really easily or maybe there’s a reason why mag pouches don’t use such a soft material anymore or maybe there’s a reason why pouches use Velcro or don’t even have a top flap instead of having the world’s stiffest button. Man, those guys had it really rough back in the day, I feel bad for them.

Amazing little pouch, been having a lot of fun with it. Would definitely recommend, Denix M1 Carbine magazines fit snuggly into the pouch and it just looks great. Seriously considering getting another one once I figure out how to remove the sling attachment pin on my replica M1.
