The Swiss TAZ 83 (Tarnanzug 83, also known as Alpenflage) camo pattern is perhaps the most striking and strangest of all military camouflage patterns, but it still stands as an effective and stylish design. The trousers themselves are quality made, versatile and durable.
Out in the leaf litter and autumn forests treat this camouflage surprisingly well. The many pockets and hard wearing material make life on the field easier and more comfortable.

Very happy with these pants, and doubly happy that Armyandoutdoors finally had some larger sizes in stock. While nominally used, my pair was nearly new and almost indistinguishable from the "new/unissued" pair I also ordered. These pants are are comfy and warm and the material is tough but soft. Generous sized pockets, will comfortably swallow a "pro max" sized iPhone or even a 500ml drink bottle. The pattern itself is absolutely fantastic in any autumn/deciduous tree environment, but blends in surprisingly well in other environs as well - check out the photos of the matching Taz83 & Taz70 jacket taken over Easter up in Bright in north east Victoria. Highly recommend - grab a pair while these sizes are available. These are now my "go to" fishing pants. And as always - the shipping was fast.

These are a very well made pair of trousers and I like them.
However sizing is important.
My pair the waste size is correct but they are a little too long in the leg size. I will need to bring them up a bit.
Sizing the Swiss made clothing is a bit of a mine field . Trial and error but when you get the right size this Swiss gear is not bad.

wearing these at work on the blackberry orchard, they are still intact after many thousands of clothes shredding thorns have grated against them, Warm and great for winter. A complete set of this camo is surprisingly effective, even in N.Z

I couldn’t recommend another pair of pants that isn’t the m83 pants. They’re comfortable and very durable, they have lasted me for 4 years now until I needed a new pair.

Very nice pants, mine came like new. They have proven very capable of handling the hard wear that comes from uni classes. :)
