Like all military hardware from the Soviet era, these belts are simple, rough and durable. Made approximately in the late 1950's these belts are a piece of posterity now.
The buckle sports the iconic Soviet hammer and sickle in raw unpainted metal. There might have been a painted coating if the back of the buckles are anything to go by, but on the front this is long gone. The belt itself is made from a very strong canvas material and is 4.5cm wide - ideal for load bearing or holding up your pants. To secure any excess length from flopping around the belt has a leather loop you can tuck it into. In its simple combat orientated nature there is no pin or eyelets but instead a simple hook that can latch on/off quickly.
If your a collector of Russian history or need a rugged belt for hunting, airsoft or an edgy outfit, cut your teeth on one of these!
