The Mauser 98 design goes back to the turn of the 20th century and served through both World Wars without any major alterations in lethality. Likewise, the design for the pouches going into WW2 had hardly changed either. Made from leather like the originals, even these repro's will likely last a century of use also. German rifleman would usually be issued two of these pouches flanked on each side of their web belt. Each pouch has 3 cells that open and close independently with snap studs at the bottom. Within these cells is a divider that allows the storage of 2 stripper clips. The pouch has belt loops at the rear to weave onto a web belt and a single D-ring to secure on suspenders.
Complete your WW2 landser impression with one of these pouches for your reenactment events, airsoft or film productions!
