The East German Strichtarn Camouflage Paratrooper Trousers feature the distinctive rain-pattern camouflage, consisting of fine brown vertical dashes over a muted olive-green background. The trousers have a high-rise waistband with button fastening, a button-front fly and metal D-ring attachment points along the inner waist. Storage includes angled hip pockets, flap-covered thigh cargo pockets and an additional small press-stud pocket on the upper leg. The straight-cut legs feature stitched knee panels and adjustable ankle tabs with button fastenings.

The interior features plain olive-green fabric with contrasting grey waistband reinforcement and visible stitching along the seams. A repair is present on the left leg.
