The East German Early Strichtarn Camouflage Trousers feature the distinctive rain-pattern camouflage, consisting of fine brown vertical dashes over a muted olive-green background. The trousers have a high-rise waistband with button fastening and metal D-ring attachment points positioned around the waist. Large flap-covered cargo pockets are fitted to both thighs, while horizontal stitched panels extend across the knee areas. The straight-cut legs feature adjustable ankle tabs with button fastenings.

The interior features plain olive-green fabric with contrasting grey reinforcement panels around the waistband and upper seat. Additional details include reinforced stitching along the leg seams, a metal D-ring at the rear waistband and button fastenings on the cargo pocket flaps.
