Description

This Cold War era, Czechoslovakian canvas backpack draws from the German rucksack design from WWII. The M60 saw its initial release in 1960 and was manufactured through to the '80's. A nice vintage looking pack with the robust build of military surplus.

Designed with a large main compartment and internal pocket, securing with a drawstring and top cover. Originally intended to carry a soldiers load out, now it can be used to carry your daily gear. Additionally, two front pockets provide extra storage for smaller items like tools, an emergency poncho or your lunch. An additional three clips hang down from the harness which soldiers used to support the load on their belt. If you have an eye for vintage design, this is a must-have backpack.

Features:

  • Genuine Czech Army surplus (with commercial harness)
  • Rugged canvas construction
  • Removable canvas harness
  • Large main compartment with drawstring closure and top cover
  • Two front pouches with strap fastening
  • Internal pocket
  • Loops on the sides and bottom for attaching additional gear

    A very nice pack

If you are looking for a old style pack that isn't covered in molle loops and screaming Tactical.

The this is the pack for you.

When empty it folds into a small bundle and is easy to store.

A very spacious bag when full.

    Fantastic

Again another great item. Very happy with it, was looking at modern travel back packs and they were over $200. This will be perfect while travelling through the UK later this year.

    Czech M60 pack

I bought one of these recently and absolutely love it! These packs are fantastic, solid, rugged, reliable, and stylish.

however, my advice would be to ditch the commercial replacement straps and get a set of the Czech M60 Field suspenders also available from Army And Outdoors (https://www.armyandoutdoors.co.nz/products/czech-m60-field-suspenders) and use those instead, as they're designed to go together they're more comfortable and better quality.

with the Pack and Suspenders combined you can even hook the suspenders to a belt to support the weight even more, maybe even the correct Czech belt to complete the set. (https://www.armyandoutdoors.co.nz/products/czech-army-brown-leather-belt)

as for the bag itself, the main compartment is huge and inside is a smaller secondary compartment that sits against the back of the pack, perfect for putting a Raincoat or piece of Foam to act as padding. the drawstring closure at the top with an additional flap and strap keeps all your kit nice and secure without the need to struggle with zippers or buckles if you've somehow filled the bag's enormous capacity.

The two outside pockets are also incredibly roomy, a single pocket being able to fit a British 2-part Mess Tin with room to spare for a knife fork and spoon set. (https://www.armyandoutdoors.co.nz/products/british-2-piece-alloy-mess-kit-grade-1)

I cannot recommend this bag enough. I myself intend to pick up two more as the D-rings on the top, and loop on the back make…
