On first glance one might think this is another CVC jacket. Though much the same in design and principal, these US cold weather flyer's jackets do not have the extraction opening to the back. They do have the same aramid construction, though this example has lost it's neck tag and the inner tag is faded and holding on by one row of stitching. These were produced from the late 70's to early 90's. This jacket has exterior fading, from olive to nearly coyote, but does not look out of place. A few loose threads and pilling to the elastic cuffing could be tidied up but this jacket is ready to roll.
