The Aegis tan plate carrier, used by the British Army, is a lightweight modular body armour system designed to carry ballistic plates and pouches for mission-specific loadouts. If these are your size, you're in luck cause we have a few!

The carrier itself is a fabric chassis with the protective function comes from inserting ceramic or composite ballistic plates (such as NIJ-rated armour plates) into dedicated front and rear pockets. The combination provides customisable load-bearing capability with ballistic protection, while keeping weight lower than older systems like Osprey. 

In tan (like a slightly pale coyote), these are well suited for arid environments and was issued primarily during operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Favoured for its balance of protection and agility, it marked a shift in British Army protective gear. Please note these are sold without any armour inserts.

Sizing/dimensions:  These plate carriers are fitted by your chest and are 64cm across the waist, flat, fixed at average position. To find your size, measure the circumference of your chest, just under the armpits.
