Description

World War 2 saw millions of rifles issued within the British empire with bayonets no less. These 'frogs' are what was issued to holster the No. 4 spike bayonet. Due to the mass of material needed, many factories were employed to produce these so minor details vary along with length as well. The main thing is they are designed to carry the same bayonet and follow roughly the same format.

Made from cotton canvas, these might be filthy after 80+ years of action/storage but will last probably another 80! But one thing is for sure - they are increasingly getting harder to come by, so secure yourself a bit of WW2 history now before they are gone!

The frog is well made , a very tight fit on my 1907 scabbard . Easier when I realised it will stretch then hold a slightly bigger shape .
