A thick, ragg wool beanie to keep your head warm in winter. Double layered with a long cut to roll up over your ears. Made in the USA with a 100% wool fabric. Ragg wool is a blend of differently dyed strands which creates a speckled pattern in the fabric. It's often used in workwear for cold weather. Wool is an excellent insulator, even when it's wet, making it ideal if you're working up a sweat or run into some foul weather.

Ironically, in a country renowned for it's wool I struggled for years to find a decent woollen hat until I found this one.
It doesn't look too 'army' for civvy street. It's warm, is a snug fit and is definitely the best I have ever had.
