Description
These boots were designed with comfort and agility in mind to keep British troops mobile on patrol. The British Army's specifications for a patrol boot are 'medium to low combat threat with light patrol pack.' Equipped with full grain leather outer lining these will keep your feet adequately protected from scrapes and knocks. The tongue and ankle/collar areas are made from polyester and have a soft, breathable Coolmax® lining. This will give you added ankle support as well as keeping a good bit of moisture out. The soles have anti-static and oil resistant properties so you can keep upright while negotiating hazardous surfaces.

These are awesome. The whole thing feels very sturdily constructed and high quality, and the only signs of use were a few light scuffs. The lacing system makes them very quick to put on and take off. With the materials and the intended temperature range I expected them to be a little more breathable than they are; they get pretty warm and are definitely most suited to colder weather. I also have had no trouble so far in light-moderate rain, but wouldn't stay out in it. Theyre comfortable and convenient enough for daily use while also being great for long periods of walking, 10/10.
I had to go a size up even trying to play it safe getting my normal size in wide, so be careful with sizing. I think it might just be wonky conversion between EU and UK systems, usually a 10 is a 45 but for these it's a 44.
