Description

A three piece holster set from Belgium including belt, pistol holster and magazine pouch.

These were used from around 1975 until 2000.  In classic olive drab, they are made from sturdy canvas weave and make quite a tidy matching set. The holster is made for the Browning Hi-Power, no surprise as Belgium is the home of infamous Fabrique Nationale (FN). A 2 cell magazine pouch will keep you topped up and the belt is adjustable. Many of these have storage wear, like scuffs, corrosion to the hardware or dust, but otherwise look great for a bit of old kit!

Features:

  • Genuine Belgian Army surplus
  • 3 piece set (belt, holster, 2 cell magazine pouch)
  • Durable construction
  • Adjustable belt
  • Dome closure holster & pouch
  • Belt hook hangers to holster & pouch

Dimensions:
Belt - One size fits most. Maximum approx. 124cm long, 5.3cm W
Magazine pouch (closed) - Approx. 13.5cm L x 10cm W x 2cm D
Weight: Approx. 560g (belt 260g, pouch 95g, holster 205g)
Colour: Olive drab
Condition: Used/Very Good - The item has clearly had some use. There may be marks and signs of wear, light fading, scuffs, unseen writing but still a lot of life left (no stains, holes or repairs). For more information check out our condition guide

Belgian belt, holster and pouch combo

    Good quality, and good condition.

Thr holster is essentially a cotton canvas webbing version of the US leather holster for the M1911 pistol.

As such I fully expect that it would accept a 1911, although I haven't tried to confirm.

What it does fit is my Airsoft Browning Hi-Power Mk.3, which is what I would expect for a Belgian piece of kit from its era.

The magazine pouches are again good quality and condition.

They are a little tight for the spare mags for my AS Mk.3, and the flap is unable to secure down.

This is not the fault of the pouch itself, it has good securing flaps, it is just that the feed lips for the Airsoft mags make the magazine just a smidgen longer than the real thing, so the flap can't pull all the way down.

The belt, like many of its era is basically a copy of the US belt from yhe late WW2/early post WW2 era.

Very adjustable, easy accommodates my waist (around 98cm), and still has room, so I suspect it unless you are a very big boy you will be fine.

The buckle itself is good condition, but the design isn't the best at being fully secure, so a bit of electrical tape might be required so that it doesn't unbuckle at the wrong moment.

On the whole, if you're after a bit of old school 50s/60s type webbing kit, this fits the bill nicely.
