The Swiss have created a robust and feature-filled piece of clothing with these Alpenflage shorts. A 3/4 length allows the knees to still be protected with the double reinforced fabric. The alpenflage pattern (officially TAS 83) is a distinctly Swiss camouflage that was rather oddly referred to as Vierfruchtpyama (four fruit pajamas) by troops. These were most likely manufactured in the 80's but are unissued and in new condition.
Constructed out of a rugged poly/cotton blend on a mid-weight weave. Combined with the reinforced knees (yes, reinforced knees on a pair of shorts), these are some tough shorts. A semi-elasticated waist band with suspender clips allows for a comfortable and secure fit. Two large cargo pockets, two rear pockets, and two slash pockets offer all the storage an outdoors man could want.

- 3/4 length
- Reinforced knees

- Zip up fly
- 5cm belt loops
- Clips for suspender attachment
