Issued mostly in the 1960's to Australian troops, these are designed to fit inside your main canteen cover and act as a liner. Made from wool it will absorb moisture and when paired with a metal canteen, will keep its contents cool. Very handy when doing thirsty work in the jungles of Vietnam in particular. Compatible with US Vietnam war era canteens and covers, keep your water cool today!
